U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham expressed approval of Vice President JD Vance’s visit to Nucor Steel in Huger, South Carolina. “I’m very pleased that Vice President Vance chose Nucor Steel in South Carolina to make the case for bringing high-paying manufacturing jobs back to America. I would urge the American people to support President Trump as he cleans up the trade mess that’s built up over the past 60 years,” Graham stated.

He praised the efforts of Nucor Steel in competing against international markets, particularly mentioning competition from China. “I have been a strong supporter of Nucor Steel. They have had to compete against China and other countries dumping low-cost steel. The Vice President made it clear the days of taking advantage of American businesses are over. I’m very glad he chose a South Carolina business to highlight this much-needed change,” Graham added.
