Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have outlined their schedules for the week beginning May 19, 2025.

On Monday, May 19, at 11:00 AM, Governor McMaster attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Prisma Health Behavioral Health Hospital located at 4906 Old Easley Bridge Road in Easley, South Carolina.

Lt. Gov. Evette is scheduled to participate in an introductory diamond sports clinic alongside Major League Baseball and the Augusta GreenJackets on Wednesday, May 21, at 10:00 AM at SRP Park in North Augusta.

Governor McMaster will attend several events on Wednesday, May 21. At noon, he will be present at the annual Governor’s Law Enforcement Officers Awards Luncheon held at Seawell’s on Rosewood Drive in Columbia. Later that day at 3:00 PM, he will attend the grand opening of Syngenta’s facility on Millennium Drive in Orangeburg.

Earlier schedules for Governor McMaster from May 12 include a series of agency and policy meetings as well as participation in significant events such as the South Carolina State Guard’s celebration of the Olympia Armory Grand Opening and speaking engagements with the South Carolina Manufacturers Alliance Manufacturing Leadership Program.

On Thursday, May 15, he joined local and state officials for both an annual Hurricane Coastal Briefing and a media briefing regarding hurricane season preparedness at Charleston Emergency Operations Center.

The week concluded with Governor McMaster attending various meetings and ceremonies including speaking at a conservation strategic planning retreat on Sunday, May 18.
