Governor Henry McMaster is scheduled to announce developments regarding the USS Yorktown Environmental Remediation Project. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 12, at 11:00 AM at the Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

Joining Governor McMaster will be Ben Duncan, Chief Officer of the South Carolina Office of Resilience (SCOR), as well as members of the General Assembly and other state and local leaders.

The announcement is expected to address environmental remediation efforts for the USS Yorktown, a historic aircraft carrier located at Patriots Point. The project aims to address environmental concerns associated with the vessel.
