Governor Henry McMaster, along with Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette and First Lady Peggy McMaster, have released their public schedules for the week of October 6, 2025.
Governor McMaster is set to attend a Republican Governors Association event in Sea Island, Georgia from Sunday, October 5 through Monday, October 6. On Thursday, October 9 at 10:30 AM, he will participate in an economic development announcement at 253 Calhoun Street in Bamberg, South Carolina. Later that day at 4:00 PM, he will attend an SC250 ceremony at the South Carolina State Fair on the Pepsi Place Stage.
Lieutenant Governor Evette is scheduled to visit Honda for Manufacturing Month on Thursday, October 9 at 12:30 PM at 1111 Honda Way in Timmonsville.
Last week’s schedule for Governor McMaster included several engagements focused on economic development and state affairs. On Monday, September 29, he visited the Scout Motors site in Blythewood. The following day he attended economic development meetings and spoke at the UP Summit held at Bentonville Municipal Airport in Arkansas.
On Wednesday, October 1, Governor McMaster was present for the Isuzu Groundbreaking event at the Piedmont Plant and participated in multiple meetings with agencies and members of South Carolina’s Congressional Delegation. He also presented William H. Bingham Sr. with the Order of the Palmetto during a ceremony held in his office.
Thursday’s activities included participation in a Military Commanders’ briefing at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center and joining U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham for a law enforcement roundtable organized by the South Carolina Sheriffs’ Association. He also recognized the Irmo Little League All-Stars during an event at the Governor’s Mansion.
The governor concluded his week by attending additional agency meetings before traveling to Sea Island for further Republican Governors Association events on Sunday evening.
