Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have outlined their schedules for the week starting January 13, 2025.
On Monday, January 13, at 10:00 AM, First Lady Peggy McMaster joined the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force to recognize Human Trafficking Awareness Month at the State House in Columbia. Later that day, at 1:00 PM, Gov. McMaster unveiled his Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Executive Budget recommendations at the same location. At 4:00 PM, he participated in the South Carolina Chef Ambassador Press Conference.
Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, January 14, at 11:30 AM during the Chester Development Association Annual Banquet held at The Gateway Conference Center in Richburg.
On Wednesday, January 15, Gov. McMaster will hold a press event honoring BMW at the State House.
Lt. Gov. Evette will attend an unveiling event on Thursday, January 16, at Scout Boats in Summerville.
The week’s activities conclude with Lt. Gov. Evette attending a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new state veteran home in Sumter on Friday, January 17.

On Monday of that week, he spoke at the Palmetto Business Forum’s meeting in Columbia.
Tuesday involved a meeting with another constitutional officer.

Thursday included speaking engagements such as the Governor’s Economic Summit and media interactions before attending a dinner with President Donald J. Trump and other governors in Palm Beach.
