Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster released their public schedules for the week of March 9, according to a March 9 announcement from the Office of the Governor.

Lieutenant Governor Evette is scheduled to attend the Republican Lieutenant Governors Association’s Spring Meeting on Amelia Island, Florida, from Monday, March 9 to Tuesday, March 10. On Tuesday at 12:30 PM, Governor McMaster will participate in a special announcement with Cox Enterprises and Ducks Unlimited at 359 Clarendon Road in Beaufort.

The previous week’s schedule included office hours at the Statehouse in Columbia for Governor McMaster. He met with Rev. Jesse Jackson Sr.’s family and local dignitaries on March 2. Other meetings involved policy discussions and sessions with members of the South Carolina Senate. On March 4, he joined Chief Justice John Kittredge, Senate President Thomas Alexander, and Speaker of the House Murrell Smith for an event recognizing the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
