Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster announced their public schedules for the week of March 23 in Columbia, South Carolina.

The schedule highlights several official events involving the state’s executive leadership. On Tuesday, March 24 at 10:00 a.m., Governor McMaster and Lieutenant Governor Evette will participate in the South Carolina Manufacturing Madness Awards Ceremony at the Statehouse on Gervais Street. Later that morning at 11:30 a.m., Evette will attend the launch of the South Carolina Healthy Business Coalition – Midlands at Senate’s End in Columbia. On Wednesday, March 25 at 11:30 a.m., she is scheduled to attend the IKO Grand Opening in Chester.

Governor McMaster will also attend key events later in the week. On Thursday, March 26 at 11:00 a.m., he will be present for the Black River State Park Ribbon Cutting in Salters. The week concludes with all three officials—McMaster, First Lady Peggy McMaster, and Lieutenant Governor Evette—attending the 91st Running of The Carolina Cup on Saturday, March 28 in Camden.

Last week’s schedule included participation by Governor McMaster in various community and state events such as speaking engagements at The Hibernian Society of Charleston’s annual banquet and ribbon cuttings for new facilities like USC Brain Health Center and CVETS Level 1 VECCS Certified Facility.

McMaster has prioritized economic development initiatives as well as public safety measures during his tenure according to the official website. He began serving as South Carolina’s chief executive on January 24, 2017 after being elected as its117th governor according to the official website, winning full terms again in both2018 and2022 according to the official website.
