Governor Henry McMaster has appointed Cindy S. Crick as the new Thirteenth Circuit Solicitor, following the resignation of Walter Wilkins. The appointment was made official through Executive Order 2025-21 and is effective immediately.

Cindy S. Crick, a resident of Greenville, brings extensive experience to her new role. She has been leading her own law practice since 2020. Before that, she served as Chief of Staff to U.S. Representative Trey Gowdy from 2011 to 2019 and worked for over eight years as an Assistant Solicitor in South Carolina’s Seventh Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Crick completed her undergraduate studies at Hollins College and earned her juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

She will serve in this position until a successor qualifies according to legal provisions.
