Governor McMaster announces weekly schedule including Order of the Palmetto presentation

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for the week of August 11, 2025.

On Monday, August 11 at 2:00 PM, Governor McMaster presented the Order of the Palmetto to Dr. Susan Elkins at the Statehouse in Columbia. Later that day at 5:30 PM, he spoke at the grand opening of the MUSC Health Jean and Hugh K. Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion in Florence.

Governor McMaster is also scheduled to participate in the I-95 Widening Groundbreaking event on Thursday, August 14 at 11:00 AM at the Hardeeville Welcome Center.

The previous week’s schedule included an economic development call on Friday, August 8 and remarks by Governor McMaster at the South Carolina Republican Party’s 58th annual Silver Elephant Dinner on Saturday, August 9 at the Columbia Convention Center.

“Gov. Henry McMaster presented the Order of the Palmetto to Dr. Susan Elkins,” according to his office schedule.

“Gov. McMaster will speak at the Grand Opening of the MUSC Health Jean and Hugh K. Leatherman Behavioral Care Pavilion,” as listed in his weekly agenda.

“Gov. McMaster will participate in the I-95 Widening Groundbreaking,” according to official announcements.
