Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for the week of September 22, 2025.
On Tuesday, September 23 at 10:00 AM, Governor McMaster is scheduled to attend the Volvo Celebration marking 70 years of Volvo in the United States and a decade of operations in South Carolina. The event will take place at the Volvo Charleston Plant in Ridgeville.
Lieutenant Governor Evette will participate in the Republican State Leadership Committee’s Technology and Energy Summit on Thursday, September 25 in Washington, D.C.
Governor McMaster will join the South Carolina Department of Transportation for a Hurricane Helene Recovery event on Friday, September 26 at Jones Gap State Park in Marietta.
The governor’s schedule from the previous week included several engagements. On Monday, September 15, he attended a luncheon for the Nuclear Frontier Documentary Premiere at The Palantir Embassy and visited with South Carolina National Guard troops in Washington, D.C. Later that day, he spoke at the documentary premiere held at The Kennedy Center.
On Tuesday, September 16, Governor McMaster worked from his office at the State House in Columbia. At 1:30 PM he presented the Order of the Palmetto to Renatta Loquist and later had meetings with a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives and joined an event recognizing recipients of the Workforce Development Champion Award with the Department of Employment and Workforce at the Governor’s Mansion.
Wednesday’s schedule included economic development meetings and agency discussions while working from his office.
The schedules reflect ongoing engagement by state leaders with business milestones such as Volvo’s anniversaries and workforce development efforts across South Carolina.
