Governor McMaster announces no public events for week of November 24

Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have no public events scheduled for the week of November 24, 2025, according to an announcement from the governor’s office. The office stated that updates will be provided if any additions are made to their schedules.

For the previous week beginning November 17, Governor McMaster attended the Republican Governors Association’s annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas. On Monday, November 17, he participated in several events and policy meetings throughout the day and spoke at a panel organized by the association. He continued attending association events on Tuesday and gave another speech.

On Wednesday, November 19, Governor McMaster returned to his office at the Statehouse in Columbia for regular office hours and held agency meetings. That afternoon, he met virtually with CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz.

Friday’s schedule included more office hours at the Statehouse. Governor McMaster took part in an economic development meeting and a press conference about a Joint Declaration of Intent between Germany and South Carolina. His day also included additional agency meetings, a policy meeting, discussions with members of the South Carolina House of Representatives and General Assembly, as well as a constituent meeting.

On Sunday evening, Governor McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster participated in the 59th Annual Governor’s Carolighting event at the Statehouse.
