Governor McMaster and Lt. Gov. Evette announce weekly schedule including winter weather preparedness events

Governor Henry McMaster, Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for the week beginning December 1, 2025.

On Monday, December 1, Governor McMaster participated in a press conference alongside state and local emergency management officials to mark Winter Weather Preparedness Week. The event took place at the South Carolina Emergency Management Division headquarters in West Columbia.

Also on Monday at 11:00 AM, Lieutenant Governor Evette attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the expansion of Concourse A at Myrtle Beach International Airport.

Later that day at 3:00 PM, Governor McMaster joined the annual A Tree for the Fallen Ceremony at the Governor’s Office in Columbia.

Looking ahead to Tuesday, December 2, Lieutenant Governor Evette is scheduled to take part in the annual statewide Greg’s Groceries Packing event at the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy in Columbia.

On Wednesday, December 3 at 2:00 PM, Governor McMaster will participate in a press conference with the South Carolina Research Authority focused on cybersecurity. This event will be held on the first floor of the Statehouse in Columbia.

From Friday, December 5 through Saturday, December 6, Lieutenant Governor Evette is set to attend the National Lieutenant Governors Association’s Business Meeting in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

The office also shared details from last week’s schedule for Governor McMaster. On November 24, he had calls with members of the South Carolina General Assembly and met with federal officials.
