Governor Henry McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster have a full schedule planned for Monday, December 9, 2024. The day’s events begin at 11:00 AM when Governor McMaster will address the Coordinating Council for Workforce Development. This meeting will take place in the C. Lem Harper Building’s Third Floor Auditorium located at 631 Hampton Street in Columbia, South Carolina.

At noon, First Lady Peggy McMaster is set to participate in a remembrance ceremony organized by Wreaths Across America. This event aims to honor South Carolina’s veterans and will be held at the S.C. Veterans Memorial on the Statehouse Grounds at 1100 Gervais Street in Columbia.

Later in the day, at 5:30 PM, both Governor McMaster and First Lady Peggy McMaster will host their annual Christmas Open House at the Governor’s Mansion situated at 800 Richland Street in Columbia. Before this event begins, Governor McMaster will be available to the media for questions or comments starting at 5:20 PM. Media members planning to attend are advised to arrive by 5:15 PM for security processing through the Richland Street Mall gate.
