Governor Henry McMaster and Lieutenant Governor Pamela S. Evette announced on March 31 their public schedules for Wednesday, April 1, in Columbia, South Carolina.

The announcement outlines key engagements by the state’s top officials that reflect ongoing government activities and partnerships within South Carolina.

Lieutenant Governor Evette is scheduled to attend the 2026 South Carolina Innovation Awareness Month Kickoff Breakfast at The Palmetto Club at 9:00 a.m. At 10:00 a.m., Governor McMaster will present the Honorary Sandlapper award to Dr. Markus Söder, Minister President of Bavaria, at the Governor’s Office on Gervais Street. Media members interested in attending are asked to RSVP via email as noted in the official schedule release.

Later in the day, at 1:30 p.m., McMaster will participate virtually in a Santee Cooper Advisory board meeting with live streaming available online immediately prior to its start.

According to the official website, Henry McMaster leads as governor of South Carolina and serves its residents through various programs including conservation efforts, historical preservation, economic development initiatives, education support, workforce training enhancement, public safety measures, health care recognition programs and cultural heritage preservation.
