Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for the week of September 2, 2025.

On Wednesday, September 3 at 11:00 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette is scheduled to visit a First Steps 4K center at Limitless Pediatric Solutions in Hardeeville.

Gov. McMaster will participate in the Governor’s Summit on Veterans’ Affairs at the Pastides Alumni Center in Columbia on Thursday, September 4 at 10:00 AM.

Later that day, at 2:00 PM, both Gov. McMaster and Lt. Gov. Evette will attend the grand opening of the Walmart Wellford Distribution Center in Wellford.

Lt. Gov. Evette will also visit Poly-Med in Piedmont on Friday, September 5 at 3:00 PM.

The governor’s office also provided a summary of last week’s activities for Gov. McMaster.

On Monday, August 25 and Thursday, August 28, he held office hours at the Statehouse in Columbia and participated in various meetings including agency discussions and policy sessions.

Tuesday included overseeing a State Fiscal Accountability Authority meeting and a ceremonial photo opportunity for H. 4296, Military Code Update.

On Wednesday morning, August 27, Gov. McMaster met with Superintendent Dr. Randall Gary and Principal Shayne Daugherty at Tyger River Elementary School in Duncan before joining state and local leaders to provide an update on South Carolina’s School Resource Officer Program.

Thursday’s schedule featured meetings with the Governor’s Counterdrug Task Force with the S.C. Army National Guard as well as economic development discussions and a presentation of the Order of the Palmetto to David Vipperman.

That evening, he spoke at an event honoring S.C. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Kittredge hosted by Capitol Ambassadors in Columbia.

Friday concluded with a meeting involving another constitutional officer.
