Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their schedules for the week of February 17, 2026.
From Wednesday, February 18 to Friday, February 20, Governor McMaster will attend the National Governors Association and Republican Governors Association’s Winter Meetings in Washington, D.C.
On Wednesday, February 18 at 9:00 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette is scheduled to participate in the South Carolina Department of Veterans’ Affairs’ Veteran Entrepreneurship Forum aboard the USS Yorktown at Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant.
Governor McMaster will also speak at the Council of Governors 32nd Plenary Meeting on Thursday, February 19 at The Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C.
Last week’s schedule included office hours at the Statehouse on multiple days and participation in policy and agency meetings. On Monday, February 9, Governor McMaster spoke at the annual South Carolina Governor’s Conference on Tourism and Travel in Myrtle Beach.
Tuesday’s activities included overseeing a meeting of the State Fiscal Accountability Authority and attending various agency and policy meetings. On Wednesday, after office hours and several meetings with agencies and constituents, he spoke at the SC Automotive Summit in Greenville and joined a media availability session with Sara Hazzard from South Carolina Manufacturers and Commerce as well as Dr. Joey Von Nessen.
Thursday involved a meeting with a member of the South Carolina Senate. Friday concluded with more constituent meetings and policy discussions during office hours at his official office located on Gervais Street in Columbia.
Governor McMaster has served as South Carolina’s chief executive since January 24, 2017 according to his official website. He was re-elected for full terms in both 2018 and 2022 as noted by state records. His responsibilities include managing state government operations under constitutional authority and providing governance across South Carolina. His administration has focused on economic development initiatives along with public safety measures, education improvements, and heritage preservation efforts according to his official site.
