Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for the week of September 29, 2025.
On Tuesday, September 30, at 1:30 PM, Governor McMaster is scheduled to speak at the 2025 UP Summit held at Bentonville Municipal Airport in Bentonville, Arkansas. At nearly the same time, Lt. Gov. Evette will visit and tour Embroidery Solutions in Kingstree, South Carolina.
Governor McMaster will attend a groundbreaking event for Isuzu’s Piedmont Plant on Wednesday, October 1 at 11:00 AM in Piedmont, South Carolina.
On Thursday, October 2 at 10:00 AM, Governor McMaster will hold a Military Commanders briefing at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center in Columbia; media availability is planned for 11:45 AM. Also on Thursday morning at 10:00 AM, Lt. Gov. Evette will participate in an announcement with Upstate Warrior Solution and the Greenville County Coroner’s office at The Rupert Huse Veteran Center in Greenville.
Lt. Gov. Evette will conclude her public events for the week by visiting A.O. Smith’s facility for Manufacturing Day on Friday, October 3 at their location in McBee.
The previous week’s schedule included Governor McMaster attending Volvo’s celebration of its milestones both nationally and within South Carolina on Tuesday, September 23 at the company’s Charleston plant in Ridgeville. That day also featured economic development meetings and discussions with members of both chambers of the state legislature.
On Wednesday, September 24, Governor McMaster presented Bruce Vollnogle with the Order of the Palmetto and participated in several policy and economic development meetings before speaking that evening at a University of South Carolina Law School alumni reception.
Friday saw Governor McMaster join an event with the Department of Transportation focused on recovery efforts following Hurricane Helene at Jones Gap State Park and later participating in an Emergency Management Division executive conference call.
Throughout Saturday and Sunday (September 27-28), he continued involvement with emergency management activities including executive conference calls and a media briefing alongside state officials from West Columbia.
