Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have released their public schedules for early January 2026.
Lt. Gov. Evette is set to participate in a press conference at the South Carolina Religious Liberty Conference on Thursday, January 8 at 9:30 AM at the Statehouse in Columbia. She will also attend the South Carolina Citizens for Life Stand Up for Life rally on Saturday, January 10 at 11:00 AM, which will be held on the North Steps of the Statehouse.
Governor McMaster’s schedule from December 15, 2025, through January 4, 2026 included several official duties and community engagements.
On Monday, December 15, Governor McMaster attended an economic development meeting and held office hours at the Statehouse. Later that day, he and First Lady Peggy McMaster attended the 20th Annual Isadore E. Lourie Memorial Hanukkah Menorah Lighting at the State House.
The following day included more office hours as well as presenting the Order of the Palmetto to Barnwell Fishburne in his office and participating in policy meetings throughout the afternoon.
Wednesday’s agenda involved providing remarks at Columbia College Fall Commencement at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center and attending additional meetings focused on economic development and policy matters with local officials and members of state government.
On Thursday, December 18, Governor McMaster continued with office hours before having a call with U.S. Department of Interior Secretary Doug Burgum and attending Tech Incubator Launchpad COLA Pitch Night hosted by Boyd Innovation Center.
He also had a policy meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 30.
