Gov. Henry McMaster announces no public events scheduled for week of November 24

Gov. Henry McMaster, Lt. Gov. Pamela S. Evette, and First Lady Peggy McMaster have no public events scheduled for the week of November 24, 2025, according to an announcement from the governor’s office. The office stated that any additions to their schedules will be communicated as they arise.

The previous week’s schedule for Gov. McMaster included attendance at the Republican Governors Association’s annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas on November 17 and 18. During this event, he participated in several panels and policy meetings.

On November 19 and November 21, Gov. McMaster was present at his Columbia office for regular hours and various agency meetings. He also met virtually with CMS Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz on November 19.

On Friday, November 21, his agenda included an economic development meeting and a press conference about the Joint Declaration of Intent between Germany and South Carolina at the Statehouse in Columbia. Later that day, he had additional agency meetings and discussions with members of both the South Carolina House of Representatives and General Assembly.

Gov. McMaster concluded his week by joining First Lady Peggy McMaster at the 59th Annual Governor’s Carolighting on Sunday evening at the Statehouse in Columbia.
