Come shop a huge selection of books, DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks for all ages at this book store, operated by the Friends of the York County Library and open to the public at 206 E. Main St. in Rock Hill.

Store pricing:

  • $3 – books, audiobooks, puzzles, and games
  • $2 – children’s and teen books
  • $1 – DVDs, CDs, mass-market paperbacks

Hours:

  • Thursday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Joint department program announces incentives for South Carolina residents to earn secondary diploma.

The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW) and the South Carolina Department of Education’s Office of Adult Education (SCDE) created a partnership program called the General Education Development (GED) Inventive Program. The program offers residents the chance to earn their GED free of charge and receive a one time $500 payment if they pass the exam.
