The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in Edisto Island fell by $39,319 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $265,681 – a 12.9% decrease over the $305,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Edisto Island in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Edisto Island for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $1,668, approximately 0.6% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
