Benjamin Hoyt Graham, 48, of Easley, South Carolina, has been arrested on ten charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The arrest was made by the Easley Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators, with assistance from the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, which is also part of the state’s ICAC Task Force.
The investigation began after a CyberTipline report was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). According to investigators, Graham possessed files containing child sexual abuse material.
Graham was taken into custody on November 21, 2025. He faces ten counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor under South Carolina law (§16-15-410), which is classified as a felony. Each count carries a potential penalty of up to ten years in prison.
The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
Attorney General Alan Wilson stated: “All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.”
According to the Attorney General’s Office, child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is now used as a more accurate term than “child pornography” because it better reflects the abusive nature of these crimes and avoids implying that children can consent.
