Clemson women’s golf earned the No. 8 seed at the Tallahassee NCAA Regional, which will be held at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida, from May 11 to May 13, according to an April 29 announcement.

The selection marks Clemson’s tenth appearance in an NCAA Regional and its eighth under Head Coach Kelley Hester. The event is significant as it provides teams a chance to advance toward the national championships.

Twelve teams and six individuals not on advancing squads will compete in the regional tournament. The top five teams and the lowest-scoring individual not on one of those teams will move forward to play in the championships at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, scheduled for May 22-27.

The Tigers’ field includes Florida (No.1 seed), Wake Forest (No.2), UCLA (No.3), Florida State (No.4), Eastern Michigan (No.5), Kentucky (No.6), Purdue (No.7), ULM (No.9), North Florida (No.10), Little Rock (No.11) and UTRGV (No.12).

Clemson women’s golf encourages fans to follow their progress on social media platforms including Instagram, X, and Facebook.

As Clemson prepares for its next appearance under Hester’s leadership, attention turns toward potential advancement into the championship rounds later this month.
