Clemson to face ETSU in NCAA Tournament first round in Nashville

The No. 24 Clemson Tigers women’s tennis team will play against East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on May 1 at the Lummis Family Tennis Center in Nashville.

This match is part of the Nashville Regional, which is hosted by Vanderbilt, seeded No. 14 in the tournament. The winner between Clemson (17-8) and ETSU (16-7) will advance to face either Vanderbilt (20-9) or Xavier (16-8) on May 2.

According to the announcement, live streaming and live statistics for the match will be available online, and admission is free for spectators. The contest marks only the third meeting between Clemson and ETSU, with Clemson leading their all-time series 2-0. Their most recent encounter was in 2024 when Clemson won by a score of 4-3.

Tickets are listed as $10 for general admission and $5 for students and children; however, it is also stated that admission is free for this event.
