Cheney Brothers announced on Mar. 11 a $42.5 million expansion of its Florence County operations, which is expected to create 85 new jobs at its distribution facility located at 2491 Florence Harllee Blvd. in Florence.
The investment highlights the company’s commitment to growing its presence in South Carolina and supporting the local economy through job creation and expanded services. The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits for the project and awarded a $200,000 Set-Aside grant to assist with site preparation and building construction.
