Charleston sailing secures top 10 finishes at national championships

The College of Charleston sailing teams finished in the top 10 at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association Open and Women’s Team Race Nationals, according to an April 28 announcement.

These results mark a strong showing for both teams. The women’s team achieved its highest placement since the 2020-21 season, when it won its third national championship. The Open Team Race squad placed ninth out of sixteen schools, while the women’s team finished eighth out of fifteen.

Both teams will conclude their season at the Women’s and Open Fleet Race Nationals, which are scheduled to take place in Tampa, Florida from May 15 to May 22.
