This year’s Honors recipients include Rosemary & Rye as Small Business of the Year; Whitney Whitlock, founder and CEO of WeThrive HR, as Entrepreneur of the Year; Bhaumik Desai from United Community as One to Watch; Trident United Way led by DJ Hampton II as Non-Profit of the Year; Truist represented by Mark Lattanzio as Community Impact Champion; and South Carolina Federal Credit Union led by Scott Woods as Business of the Year. Each recipient is recognized for their contributions in areas such as hospitality, human resources support for small businesses, financial expertise combined with community involvement, nonprofit leadership focused on financial stability for ALICE households, investment in affordable housing and workforce development, and longstanding commitment to philanthropy.
