The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce announced on April 29 that members gathered last week to recognize individuals and organizations shaping the region’s future during The Honors 2026 event. Honorees were celebrated for their leadership, impact, and contributions to the business community.
Each award recipient was recognized for unique efforts in areas such as innovation, economic growth, and community support. The chamber said these honorees represent the resilience and vision driving progress in the Charleston region. This year’s awards included Rosemary & Rye as Small Business of the Year; Whitney Whitlock of WeThrive HR as Entrepreneur of the Year; Bhaumik Desai from United Community as One to Watch; Trident United Way as Non-Profit of the Year; Truist as Community Impact Champion; and South Carolina Federal Credit Union as Business of the Year.
