Baxter Manufacturing has announced a $15.7 million expansion of its facility in Oconee County, South Carolina, which is expected to create 36 new jobs. The company, which supplies plastic injection-molded automotive parts, will add 35,000 square feet and new machinery to its Westminster location at 1000 Innovation Way.
The expansion aims to increase production capabilities and better serve the company’s automotive customers. Operations at the expanded facility are projected to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Baxter Manufacturing has operated in Oconee County since 2017 and has over four decades of experience as a family-owned supplier in the plastics industry.
Baxter Manufacturing President Bill Clark said, “We are thrilled to be expanding our operations in Oconee County for a second time in less than eight years, a testament to the quality workforce and pro-business environment we have found here. This expansion is a key part of our strategic vision, allowing us to better meet our customer demands and position ourselves for future growth.
