Attorney General Alan Wilson has issued a response following the recent ruling in the case against Michael Colucci. In a court hearing, Judge Roger Young decided to quash the indictment without prejudice. This allows the State to reassess and address any issues identified by the court before potentially pursuing another trial.

Wilson stated, “We respect the decision of the court and note that Judge Young did not find intentional misconduct by prosecutors from the Attorney General’s office.”

The ruling provides an opportunity for further evaluation of the case, ensuring that any concerns raised are adequately addressed.
