South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has announced the arrest of Timothy Edward Henderson, 30, from Anderson, South Carolina, on charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors. The Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Anderson Police Department carried out the arrest.
According to investigators, Henderson is accused of engaging in criminal sexual conduct with a minor and producing files of child sexual abuse material. He was taken into custody on February 26, 2026. The charges include one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the second degree (§16-3-655(B)(1)), and one count of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor (§16-15-395), which is a felony offense that can result in up to 20 years in prison.
The Attorney General’s Office will prosecute this case. Alan Wilson stated: “All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.”
The press release also notes that child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is considered a more accurate term for this type of evidence than “pornography,” as it avoids implying consent by minors.
