Attorney General Alan Wilson has announced that a Lexington County man, Jordan Keith Agee, has been sentenced to five years in prison for possessing child sexual abuse material, drugs, and resisting arrest. Agee pleaded guilty to the charges, including Resisting Arrest, Possession of Less Than 1 Gram of Methamphetamine/Cocaine Base, and four counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor – 3rd Degree.

According to Attorney General Alan Wilson, Agee was the subject of multiple investigations by the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, with incidents dating back to early 2022. Agee was found to have less than one gram of methamphetamine in his possession in March 2022, and investigators also discovered child sexual abuse material linked to him through a CyberTip.

During the sentencing, Judge Daniel Coble in Lexington County handed Agee a five-year prison term for the four charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor - 3rd Degree. Additionally, Agee received three years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections for the drug possession charge and 763 days in the Lexington County Detention Center for resisting arrest. These sentences are to be served concurrently, and Agee will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release. He also agreed to forfeit his devices.

The case serves as a reminder of the serious consequences individuals face for such crimes, and the importance of law enforcement efforts in combating child exploitation and drug-related offenses.
